Lenham Community Centre helps gather donations for Digital Pipeline

For the week of 18th June, the Lenham Community Centre was open to receive donations of unwanted computers and equipment from local residents.

The following week, on Monday 25th June, Digital Pipeline came to collect the equipment for transport to the DP/C4A centre in Maidstone for data-wiping and processing.

The results were terrific; many quality items including laptops and monitors will now have a second life where they are most needed - Africa.

The initiative has worked well and we're hoping to repeat it in due course, both in Lenham and in other villages. Meanwhile if you have any old computer equipment to donate then let us know.

Don't let your old computers go to sleep. Keep them humming by supporting Digital Pipeline.
