We are pleased to announce that construction is well underway on the houses for teachers at Simooya Community School.
Chibozu Community Trust is not for profit organisation registered in the UK. The Trust operates in Pemba District of the Simooya area with 12 villages that have a total population of 5500 in the southern part of Zambia. They support various projects across Zambia including health and education with the main objective being to alleviating poverty and hunger.
Computers 4 Africa have helped the Chibozu Community Trust in the past by providing IT equipment and wanted to assist further by helping to provide funding for the materials to complete two new houses for teachers. A lack of suffiecnt accommodation for the teachers at the school meant the school could not recruit more qualified teaching staff.
With donations from The Cook Foundation and members of BOB Clubs Maidstone. Computers 4 Africa were able to raise £2000 for Simooya Community School. The money went to help provide materials for the roof, windows, and doors.
Thank you to everyone who contributed.
